How does Quin help our users with diabetes improve time in range? We’re aware that anyone deciding to share their data with us is putting a lot of faith in our ability to keep their data safe. So we use it fairly and appropriately. Keep reading to find out how.
The importance of being transparent
We are determined to be transparent about our processes and data research. Our goal is to regularly share what we learn about the Quin app, and the safety and benefits of using the app starting with our latest research report.
This edition focuses on our users time in range and hypoglycaemic events (hypos). It also looks into whether or not Quin has helped our users since the stealth launch in mid-June 2020. In the next report, we will be sharing research on Quin’s effects on overall quality of life.
How does Quin improve time in range for people with diabetes?
- 6 of our 7 users improved their time in range within 2 weeks of using the Quin app. They’re appearing to retain the improvement over continued early use.
- While we have helped some users gain small improvements in time in range, there were greater improvements in the reduction of the number of hypos.
We hope you will enjoy reading the report and will find it insightful. We couldn’t have done it without our users- people who trust and believe in Quin. The continued evolution of the Quin app is driven by the understanding we gain from the lives of people with diabetes.
